Mimitoys was founded in June 2004 based on offering parents the best quality toys at reasonable prices.
Since that date we have learned a lot about toy quality. In fact we think we have learned enough to start putting our money where our mouth is. So here it is
The Mimitoys 5 year Toy Guarantee
Mimitoys guarantees that every toy we sell will work for at least 5 years from date of purchase.
This guarantee is based on the reasonable use of that toy. So what is reasonable use? We believe its a child playing with a toy in a calm manner appropriate to that toy.
And what in not reasonable use? Well we believe it is a child playing with the toy in an inappropriate manner. Below are some examples of what we believe is playing with a toy in an inappropriate manner.
Chewing, creasing, jumping on, throwing, letting fall, straining, crushing, bashing with something else, bashing on someone else, leaving outdoors, leaving in water, putting in a fire, eating, standing on, cutting, tearing or most likely losing all or part of that toy.
Other than those exclusions we believe our toys will last at least 5 years.
If our toys dont last 5 years subject to the above exclusion examples, then the process is
- Notify us by e-mailing info(at sign)mimitoys.ie or phoning us on +353 (0)1 529 2297. We will ask that you forward on to us your receipt of purchase and photo of the offending toy. We may even ask you to return the toy to us.
- With that communication Mimitoys will either send you a replacement part or issue you with a voucher equal to the purchase price you paid for the item plus any postage costs you may have incurred on getting the toy back to us.
The Mimitoys 5 year Furniture Guarantee
Mimitoys guarantees that every furniture piece we sell will work for at least 5 years from date of purchase.
This guarantee is based on the reasonable use of that piece.
So what is reasonable use? We believe its a child using that furniture in a calm manner. The only exclusion to this guarantee is scratches to paint as a result of friction from another object.
If our furniture don't last 5 years subject to the above exclusion, then the process is
- Notify us by e-mailing info(at sign)mimitoys.ie or phoning us on +353 (0)1 529 2297. We will ask that you forward on to us your receipt of purchase and photo of the offending site,
- With that communication Mimitoys will either send you a replacement part or issue you with a voucher equal to the purchase price you paid for the item.
