Mimitoys has been in operation since June 2004. That length of service means we have significant experience and knowledge in advising parents and gift buyers on buying the most appropriate toy.
There are some additional questions that are regularly asked by our customers. The following is a likely list of those questions.

Are the toys in stock and how long does it normally take to get delivered ???
All items featured on our site are on our shelves for delivery to your home. So "If it's on our website it's on our shelves". We dispatch all orders the very same day if received before 12 noon. Delivery to your preferred Ireland & Mainland Britain address is within 3 working days of our dispatch.
I want to send the toys to another address, is there anything additional I need to do ??? Yes, please fill in the delivery address and most importantly a telephone contact for that delivery address. Please also ensure that there will be somebody at the delivery address. Dont worry if that person is likely to pop out on a school or shop run, the courier will always attempt a second delivery and also will make a phone call to the delivery phone number you have provided us.
If there is likely to be nobody at the delivery address then consider giving us details of a work address of that family, or a neighbour to that family that is made aware of the delivery.
How secure are the Card Details I enter to complete my order ??? Your credit card details are very safe with us because we use an excellent Irish company called Realex. Realex use the latest security technology, which ensures your card details are extremely safe. In fact for web purchases we have no record whatsoever of your card details - the only information we have is the details that make up your order.
What if I want advice on a toy ??? This is what we are best at. Just call us and we can discuss your choice and toys that suit your needs. 1890 520 025 (int +353 1 529 2297), or use the Have A Question facility on our home page or call into any one of our shops.
How much is the delivery for my order ??? The charge to you for delivery & packaging is EURO-5.95 for each order regardless of the number of items in that order.
How are orders delivered ??? All items are delivered by our preferred courier. Normally we do not use An Post. We dispatch all orders the very same day if received before 12 noon. Delivery to your preferred address is within 3 working days of our dispatch. This means we need somebody at the delivery address to sign for the courier delivery.
Does somebody need to be in the delivery address to receive a delivery ??? Yes, our courier cannot leave items without getting a signature. So getting orders dropped in a garage or a porch is not possible. However getting orders dropped with a present neighbour works fine or indeed delivery to a work address is extremely efficient and often faster than a home address delivery.
How long will delivery take ??? We dispatch all orders the very same day if received before 12 noon. Delivery to your preferred address is within 3 working days of our dispatch. Remember if you give us a business address delivery will be faster. For remote homes in rural areas count 4 working days.
What happens if I miss a delivery ??? No problems, the courier will ring to organise an alternative day and time and will always make a second attempt to deliver.
Are all items found on the web in stock ??? All items we display on the website are on our shelves except for the items that we detail on our web as having longer availability times such as some furniture. This extended lead time is detailed in the description of that furniture item.
What happens if the item is not suitable when it arrives with us ??? No issue, all you need to do is get it back to us in a resaleable condition within 7 working days after receiving it. So either drop it into our shops or post / courier it back to us at your cost. We will then reimburse you for the purchase value of the item(s).
What happens if an item arrives damaged or breaks soon after use ??? Our guarantee is water tight. Get it back to us by either dropping it into our showroom or post / courier it back to us. If the damage fault is obvious we will reimburse you for the price of the item plus your incurred posting costs.
What happens if I wish to add or cancel an item after concluding an earlier order.
Again no problem if the original order has not already left us for delivery to you. The easiest way is to telephone us on 1890 520 025 (353 1 529 2297 international customers) so we can amend or cancel your order.
What Payment methods do you accept ??? For orders placed on the web we accept Visa, Visa Debit (Ireland) Mastercard and American Express. We are currently unable to take British Debit Cards and Cash on Delivery is not practical for our delivery method.
For phone-based orders we again accept all major cards plus we are happy to accept cheque, drafts and postal orders. For these payment methods we set aside the items of your order and dispatch them as soon as the value of the cheque enters our bank account.
For card security reasons we ask customers never under any circumstances email us or leave a voicemail detailing your credit card details.
Where do Mimitoys deliver to ??? We have delivered toys to the most northern offshore Island to the most Southern offshore island of Ireland and everywhere in between, including Northern Ireland & Britain (excluding Islands). Again we do not deliver to Mainland Europe or The US because we cannot track these deliveries efficiently.
