How does the delivery arrive ???
It arrives via DPD our preferred courier. Somebody needs to be at your delivery address. If not DPD will leave a postcard for you to call their depot in order to arrange an alternative delivery time.

How do boxes arrive - is their photos or images of the toys on the side of the box ???
Orders are delivered in plain cardboard boxes. No images or photos on the side but the boxes may have toy related text visible on the box. If this is an issue please call us 1890 520 025 or arrange a delivery address where there are no enquiring eyes.

How long will delivery take ???
Orders are delivered quickly. We dispatch all orders the same working day if the order is recieved before 12 noon. Delivery to your preferred address is within 2 working days of our dispatch. Please Note :-: If you give us a business address delivery will be faster. For remote homes in rural areas count 3 working days.

When is last order date for Guaranteed pre Christmas '11 delivery. ???
Last Orders where pre Christmas delivery is guaranteed is midnight Monday 19th. Orders on and just before this date will be tracked individually by Mimitoys. Orders after this date will be tracked by us but no guarantee given on pre Chistmas delivery.

How much does Delivery Cost ???
If you purchase €39.95 or more of product from us, we do not charge any delivery fee.If you purchase less than €39.95 we charge a standard fee of €6.95 per order. Its that simple !!!

Are the toys in stock and how long does it normally take to get delivered ???
Toys that you can "add to basket" are in stock. Toys that are noted as out of stock are expected to come back into stock within 4 weeks. Toys that you saw previously on the web site but cant see now are either never coming back into stock, or will return into stock between 3 and 6 months time. All items featured on our site are on our shelves for delivery to your home within 3 - 4 working days. Some items are warehoused in the UK or further afield. The maximum time for their delivery is detailed in those items description.

What payment methods do Mimitoys accept ? We accept online payments forVisa, Mastercard, Amex and Irish debit cards ie Laser Cards and Visa Debit.

We also accept cheques, bank drafts and postal orders. Please ring us on 1890 520 025 if you want to pay using these methods.

When you order with us by credit card, the account is not debited until we have dispatched the goods. When you order with us by cheque we dispatch your order when your cheque has cleared its value into the Mimitoys account. Make cheques payable to "Mimitoys".


Where do you deliver to ??? We deliver anywhere within the Island of Ireland including Northern Ireland and to offshore Irish islands. We also deliver to Britain (England, Scotland & Wales excluding islands) but not to Continental Europe.


What are your Returns Policies ??? All our toys conform to the strict European safety standards and bear the CE mark. We are confident that customers will be happy with their purchases. However, if a customer should wish to return or replace a product, please do so in its original packaging within 30 days after reception of order. (Note: the delivery charge is not refundable except in the case of faulty products).

Additionally personalised book orders are made especially according to your specific details. Therefore we cannot resell a book once it has being prepared. As a result we are unable to allow personalised orders to be cancelled or refunded.

Naturally we cannot be responsible for items lost or damaged in the post. We recommend that customers get a "proof of posting certificate" from An Post to guarantee the packages safe return to us. Postage returns are direct costs and we regret that they cannot be refunded except in the case of faulty products.


What happens to the information I supply you with ??? When ordering on our website we ask customers to register their details with us. As part of that process we ask you if we can "use your details for promotional reasons" offering you the opportunity to decline our request.
We would like to use these details to post you our latest catalogue or inform you of special offers. We have not, do not and will not share your information with any other outside organisation.
If you do not wish to receiveďż˝ these Mimitoys offers, please e-mail us at info@mimitoys.ie including your name and address or phone us at 1890 520 025, and we will remove your details from these Mimitoys promotional activities.

Is Child Labour used in the manufacture of your toys??? Mimitoys has spent a considerable amount of time researching their suppliers' chain of production. At the end of our research into this matter we can state that our suppliers and their suppliers have signed or stated that they do not use child-labour in the manufacture of their toys.

We can also catagorically state that all our suppliers have signed anti child labour codes of practise or are members of professional bodies that only allow members who have signed similar anti child labour codes of practise eg British Toy & Hobbies Association (BTHA).
