John Crane toys are manufactured in factories that meet strict criteria on quality, social and welfare requirements. They guarantee that no child labour is used, that fair wages are paid, exceeding the minimum wage for that country and that workers have regulated hours.  Regular factory visits/audits are carried out by its Directors to ensure these  requirements are met.

All John Crane toys and products conform to the relevant British or European Safety Regulations, which for toys is EN71. Also paint batches are tested prior to delivery to John Crane's factories.  Then they are  re-tested at point of manufacture.  Woods used are documented and sourced from forests where timber felled is replanted.
