Bigjigs is a family run wooden toy business which began in in 1985 in Peter Ireland’s shed in Kent, England. Peter impressed the people around him so much with the wooden creations he made in his free time that he and his wife Liz began selling the wooden toys at craft fairs, and it was all history from there! Peter and Liz are teachers by trade, so they keep education at the forefront when designing toys, but they make sure to test them with the grandchildren so they can be certain they’re fun by the time they get to you!
